  • Views like this slow me down. They remind me how blessed we are to explore places like this, to have the freedom to chase the trail, and to experience creation from this perspective.

Grateful for the miles behind us… and the ones still ahead. 🚙⛰️
  • Rolled into camp with the creek rushing beside us and the mountains closing in for the night. Opened the rooftop tent and just felt grateful, grateful for safe miles, a solid rig, good company, and a place like this to call home for the night.

Days like this remind me how much of a gift this adventure really is.
  • We pulled over in the North Georgia mountains for a simple lunch break and ended up with a view you can’t plan. Miles and miles of rolling mountain hills stretched out in front of us, quiet and wide open.

It was one of those moments where you’re reminded how small you are, and how thankful you should be to see places like this from the trail.
  • Camp settled in.
Mountains stretching out in the distance, dressed in fall color.
Morning light glowing on the river as the day slowly woke up.

Moments like these don’t rush you, they invite gratitude. Gratitude for the trail that brought us here, for a safe place to rest, and for mornings that remind you how good it is to simply be present.

This is why we travel the way we do.

  • This section had everyone slowing way down. The trail was washed out and off-camber, and with rooftop tents up top, a lot of these rigs felt way more top-heavy than usual.

The smart move here was to read the terrain, pick a line carefully, and straddle the washout instead of dropping into it. Slow, steady, and controlled, sometimes the best play on the trail is the least exciting one.
  • We rolled the mountain trails together, one Jeep after another, taking it all in as we went. Then the trail dropped into a small river crossing and, just like that, we were splashing through it, laughing, watching each rig come across, and enjoying every second of it.

These are the moments that remind me why I love doing this… good trails, good people, and being right where you’re supposed to be.
  • High on a mountain ridgeline, rolling through fall as the leaves turned the forest orange below us. The air was cool, the views were wide, and the miles ahead felt full of promise.

This was the start of the Georgia Traverse, a reminder that some adventures begin quietly, with nothing but a trail, a Jeep, and the changing seasons guiding the way. 🍂🚙
