  • Out enjoying some time in the North Georgia mountains and making the most of a good day outside.

Nothing complicated… just easing through a little water, rolling under an old bridge, and taking the trail as it comes. This is the kind of stuff I look forward to… getting out, enjoying the weather, and putting a few miles behind us.

Simple days on the trail are sometimes the best ones.
  • Today marks one year since my father went home to be with the Lord.

After nearly five years of battling serious health complications, in and out of the ER and ICU, we knew his time here was coming to an end, and so did he. The doctors told us he had only a few days left, and that he wouldn’t be leaving the hospital.

So for three days, our family gathered around him. We made beds in his room. We loved on him. We told him how incredible of a father he was. We prayed, we talked about Jesus, and we worshiped together.

The hospital staff gave us such a gift—they closed the doors, dimmed the room, turned off all the beeping machines and allowed me to bring in my guitar. In that space, surrounded by family, we worshiped and invited the presence of the Holy Spirit in such a powerful way.

As hard as it was, it was also one of the most beautiful and sacred moments of our lives. We had the honor of walking him right to the feet of Jesus.

One year ago today, we were by his side, praying with him as he took his final breath. And it was peaceful.

I’m forever grateful for those moments. Even in grief, God gave us a gift… peace, presence, and the assurance of eternity.

Miss you, Dad. ❤️:
  • Out here, water isn’t just a convenience… it’s survival.

When you’re miles off-grid, having clean, drinkable water you can trust makes all the difference. That’s why I’ve been putting the ITEHIL system to the test. The reverse osmosis filter and hybrid filter combo gives you serious peace of mind, taking questionable water sources and turning them into something safe and ready to drink.

Whether you’re overlanding deep in the backcountry, posted up at camp, or living that van life, having reliable, accessible water on demand is a total game changer.

👉 If you’re looking to upgrade your off-grid setup:
Use code ROADRASH to save 20% at checkout.

Stay out longer. Go further. Drink with confidence. 💧🤙
  • Just dropped a review on the ITEHIL Portable RO Water Purifier, and this thing is a game changer for anyone living the overland, RV, or van life.

Whether you’re deep off-grid or just chasing long adventures, having clean, reliable water on demand changes everything. In this video I’m walking through the system, showing close-up details, and putting it through real-world use on the trail. Check it out on YouTube now…

  • Out exploring North Georgia and the trail had a few surprises for us.

Nothing crazy, just low-hanging trees that make you slow down, duck a little, and pick your line carefully to squeeze through without tearing anything up. It’s part of it… adapting to whatever the trail throws at you and just keeping it moving.

That’s what I enjoy about days like this. No rush, just working through it and enjoying being out there.
  • Out exploring the North Georgia mountains again and it was a solid day on the trail.

Me and English working our way through the trees, easing over some washed-out sections and flexing through the crevices like they’re supposed to. Nothing wild, just real trail riding where you’ve got to slow down, pick your line, and let the suspension do its job.

That’s the kind of stuff I enjoy most… being out in the mountains with good people and capable rigs, just seeing where the trail takes us.

If you want to ride along with us on this one, you can join the full adventure over on the Road Rash Off Road YouTube channel.

We spent the day navigating deep washouts and crevices that have significantly deteriorated over the last few seasons. If you’re in a stock rig, you might want to sit this one out… the “mountain pinstripes” are real!

  • We’ve run the Georgia Traverse a dozen times, but we usually blow right through the “Day One” section to get to the high peaks. 🤦‍♂️

My friend English and I spent this weekend deep-diving the NE corner and found exactly what we were looking for: tight trails, deep washouts, and enough “mountain pinstripes” to remind us we aren’t in a mall parking lot anymore. Definitely wouldn’t recommend some of these trails for a stock rig… some of the terrain is starting to get spicy. 🌶️

Ended the day at a spot on the river at Earls Ford. Not a bad way to spend 48 hours.

Walking Stick Trail is definitely living up to the rumors. 🌲🛠️

We spent the day navigating deep washouts and crevices that have significantly deteriorated over the last few seasons. If you’re in a stock rig, you might want to sit this one out… the “mountain pinstripes” are real!

Full recon video is live.
