The unboxing of the Camplux Tankless Hot Water Heater feels like opening a treasure chest of modern comfort. Here’s what you can expect to find inside:

Step 1: Find the Perfect Spot

Choose a location on the side of your Jeep Wrangler where the heater can be securely mounted. Ensure it’s easily accessible but out of the way of other essential gear. For me, this is on the passenger side of the Jeep. Because the back tail gait opens towards the passenger side, the rear wheel and swinging door create an excellent wall for privacy. Because of this, I’ve chosen to use my passenger side of the Jeep for all non public happenings like showering, the ladder to my tent, etc.

Step 2: Mount the Heater

Using the included folding handle on the unit makes it easy to carry, position and hang just about anywhere. I have added an L-Bracket from my Rhino Rack Backbone Roof Rack over my back window. This is the perfect place because my 5lb propane tank is easily accessible on my rear tire mount.

Step 3: Connect the Water Hoses

The hoses are easily marked and labeled. After first attaching the colored quick disconnects (included), just match each water hose with the same color quick disconnect and you are ready to rock. For the blue hose, attach one end of the provided water hose to the inlet of the heater and the other end to the 12V pump. The pump is designed to draw water from a lake, stream, or any available source.

Step 4: Power Up

Connect the 12V pump to your Jeep’s power supply. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent leaks.

Step 5: Ignite the Heater

Turn on the unit using the on/off switch on the pump and the pilot light will automatically light. The heater will instantly start heating water on demand, delivering hot water within a temperature range of 46.4℉ to 114.8℉.
