The woods get quiet, visibility gets shorter, and you never really know what the trail is going to look like around the next turn. Just a group of Jeeps working our way through the mountains and enjoying one of those days where the weather becomes part of the adventure. 🌫️🚙

A bunch of friends, a line of Jeeps disappearing into the fog, and no idea what we were going to find around the next corner. The big upgrade for me? The wireless Bluetooth control mic. No cord tying the mic to the radio. The base unit stays tucked away in the Jeep while the controls stay in my hand. Add in 15-watt GMRS, an IP67-rated mic, automatic noise canceling, repeater capability and a clean hideaway installation, and this feels like a radio designed around how we actually use our rigs on the trail.   • THIS is why I’m most excited about the Midland MXT295 PRO. 📻 With my MXT275, I could be talking to the group while driving, pull up to a difficult obstacle…and then when I got out of the Jeep to spot another rig, I’d put down the Midland mic and grab a separate handheld radio. The MXT295 PRO changes that. The Bluetooth control mic is completely wireless. Now I can be talking to the group from inside the Jeep, pull over, get out, walk the obstacle and start spotting another rig… without ever changing radios. The same mic in my hand stays connected to the GMRS radio and antenna system mounted in my Jeep.
