Point Washington State Forest – Florida

If you have ever spent any time on the East Coast, Point Washington State Forest probably is not the first thing that comes to your mind. You likely think of a little piece of beach heaven called 30A. It is probably the closest thing to the Caribbean while staying in North America. Technically, 30A is …

  • Out exploring the North Georgia mountains again and it was a solid day on the trail.

Me and English working our way through the trees, easing over some washed-out sections and flexing through the crevices like they’re supposed to. Nothing wild, just real trail riding where you’ve got to slow down, pick your line, and let the suspension do its job.

That’s the kind of stuff I enjoy most… being out in the mountains with good people and capable rigs, just seeing where the trail takes us.

If you want to ride along with us on this one, you can join the full adventure over on the Road Rash Off Road YouTube channel.
  • Walking Stick Trail is definitely living up to the rumors. 🌲🛠️

We spent the day navigating deep washouts and crevices that have significantly deteriorated over the last few seasons. If you’re in a stock rig, you might want to sit this one out… the “mountain pinstripes” are real!

Full recon video is live.
  • We’ve run the Georgia Traverse a dozen times, but we usually blow right through the “Day One” section to get to the high peaks. 🤦‍♂️

My friend English and I spent this weekend deep-diving the NE corner and found exactly what we were looking for: tight trails, deep washouts, and enough “mountain pinstripes” to remind us we aren’t in a mall parking lot anymore. Definitely wouldn’t recommend some of these trails for a stock rig… some of the terrain is starting to get spicy. 🌶️

Ended the day at a spot on the river at Earls Ford. Not a bad way to spend 48 hours.
  • Back out exploring North Georgia and doing what we love.

No big production, no crazy obstacles, just getting off the pavement and seeing where the trail leads. That’s the part I enjoy the most. Just being out there with good friends and letting the day unfold.

We wrapped it up by finding a place to camp and calling it a solid day.

Simple. Real. Exactly why we do this.

  • Pulled off on the side of the trail to get ready before heading in.

Aired down, disconnected the sway bars, did a quick walk around the rig, and just took a minute to look at what was ahead of us. The trail always feels different once you leave the pavement, and this is that transition moment.

I’ve got the MorrFlate 4 Hose Inflation System hooked up, letting the tires drop while I get everything else dialed in. Nothing flashy, just part of the rhythm of exploring.
  • This changes everything when we get to the trail.

I hooked up the MorrFlate 4 Hose Inflation System, set the MorrFlate Air Hub to 12 PSI, and let it start dropping all four tires at the same time.

Instead of standing there going tire by tire, I can walk around the Jeep, disconnect sway bars, check over the rig, and make sure everything’s ready. It just makes the whole process smoother and way less of a hassle before we roll out.
  • Quick breakdown of the setup I’m running from MorrFlate.

In this reel I’m walking through the 3-piece system… the MorrFlate TenSix Air Compressor, the MorrFlate Air Hub, and the MorrFlate 4 Hose Inflation System.

This is what’s made airing down and airing back up way faster and a whole lot less of a hassle for me. Simple setup, gets the job done, and back on the road quicker.
  • I’ve said it all week… the worst part of off-roading for me has always been airing down and airing back up.

Not because it isn’t necessary. It is. Airing down protects your rig, improves traction, and makes the ride better. But standing there at the trailhead or at the end of the day, going tire by tire, waiting on a compressor… it was time consuming and honestly just a pain.

That’s why I finally looked for a better solution.

The MorrFlate system lets me handle all four tires at once, which cuts the time way down and makes the whole process simple. Now I don’t avoid airing down, I just do it.

If you’ve ever felt the same way about that part of the trail routine, the full breakdown is up now on the Road Rash Off Road YouTube channel.

Pulled off on the side of the trail to get ready before heading in.

I’ve said it all week… the worst part of off-roading for me has always been airing down and airing back up.
